In this position you will be part of large-scale big data projects covering 100s of millions of people’s data helping with multi-million dollar marketing campaigns for a blue chip organization with a house hold name and solid reputation in the insurance sector.
Environment: Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Spark, Python, Kafka
The Senior Big Data Developer role includes guiding junior staff members, writing Hive queries and PIG scripts, using HDFS, Sqoop, Spark & Kafka with huge datasets ranging from real-time tracking through to decades of historical customer information to help the organization make better decisions.
